New Yorkers must yank iPods crossing the street |
(ENGLISH)
New Yorkers are super furious.
About what? About this:
NY State Sen. Carl Kruger is now
planning to introduce legislation
that would ban the use of an iPod,
cell phone, music player or any
kind of portable electronic device,
while in a crosswalk.
According to Mr. Kruger, “It’s what I call "iPod oblivion," where they’re wired into their iPods and not paying attention to what’s around them”
And, he referred to the recent death of a 23 year-old Brooklyn man who
was killed by a vehicle while listening to his iPod. He says inattention has
led to a number of fatal accidents on city streets. His bill is expected to
be voted by June. If approved, anyone caught crossing the street using
electronic devices in cities such as New York, Albany and Buffalo would be
issued a $100 fine.
Hey, hey, hey, come on! Mr. Kruger, are you serious?? It seems no one want to be protected
by your GREAT idea. Listen
to New Yorker’s voices! [VOICE]
A guy who almost got hit by a
car because he was thinking
something when he was walking has also proposed to ban thinking while
walking. Wow, What a revolutionary idea!

Hey, hey, hey,
